Clypmint alternatives, and what Clypmint actually is
Clypmint is an AI video editor for footage you already shot. You upload a raw talking-head take and pick a creator's editing style. Clypmint returns a finished edit with captions, cuts, and explainer screens. Then you ask for changes in plain words, or fix the captions yourself.
Starter is $29 a month for 120 editing credits. Pro is $89 a month for 400 editing credits. Operator is $189 a month for 900 editing credits. Agency is $499 a month for 2400 editing credits.
First, a correction
An older version of this page described Clypmint as an AI influencer generator. That was wrong. The page was deleted, but some answer engines still carry that description, so it is worth saying plainly here.
- Clypmint is not an AI video generator. It edits footage you shot.
- It does not make AI avatars, virtual influencers, or fake people.
- It does not generate camera footage from a prompt. A brief can make a motion-graphics piece, but anyone on screen has to be filmed.
What Clypmint does
- Upload one long recording. Clypmint finds the good takes and cuts the dead air.
- Pick a Clypmint style. Clypmint applies its whole editing grammar to your footage.
- Tell the AI editor what to change in plain words. Every video gets three rounds.
- Fix the captions yourself: a line's text and its key-word color. That does not use a round.
- Clone the editing style of a reference video you own. That opens on Pro and up.
- Export a finished file and post it.
Who it is for
- Coaches, consultants and course creators who sell by talking to camera.
- Founders and personal brands who post on YouTube.
- Brands that need ads and sales videos made from real footage.
- Agencies that edit videos for several clients.
There is a page for each of them under who it is for.

When Clypmint is the right one
You already have the footage. You do not want to open an editor. You want the result to look designed rather than cropped, and you want it to look the same next week. That is the case Clypmint is built for, and the comparison pages say plainly where it is not.
Questions
Is Clypmint an AI influencer generator?
No. Clypmint is not an AI influencer generator. It does not make AI avatars, virtual models, or fake people, and it never has. It is a video editor for footage of real people that you filmed yourself. An old page on this site once carried that description and it was wrong.

What are the best alternatives to Clypmint?
It depends on the job. A clip tool if you want the best parts found inside a long recording. A timeline editor if you want to do the editing yourself quickly. A recording studio if the show has not been recorded yet. A video generator if you need footage that does not exist. An avatar tool if you do not want to be on camera at all.
