Is Clypmint an AI influencer generator?
No. Clypmint is not an AI influencer generator and it does not make AI avatars, virtual models, or fake people. An older page on this site once carried that description and it was wrong. Clypmint edits footage of real people that you filmed yourself.
Does Clypmint generate video from a text prompt?
No. Clypmint needs footage. It does not make video out of nothing. If you want a shot that does not exist yet, a generative tool like Runway does that job and Clypmint does not.
How is Clypmint different from a captions app?
A captions app styles the words on top of your video. Clypmint edits the video underneath them. It chooses the cuts, places designed cards and motion graphics on the beats, and grades the picture, all following one measured style.

What is a Clypmint style?
A Clypmint style is a whole editing grammar measured from a real finished edit. It carries the cut rules, the type system, the colour, and which graphic fires on which beat. Clypmint ships 13 of them. It is not a filter and it is not a template.
Can I tell it what to change in plain English?
Yes. That is the AI editor. You describe the change you want, like holding a line longer or cutting the first thirty seconds, and it performs the edit on your existing timeline rather than rebuilding the video from scratch.
Can I still edit it myself?
Yes. Every video opens as a real multi-track timeline. You can move any cut, change any caption, and delete any graphic by hand.
Does it remove filler words and dead air?
Yes. Clypmint reads the transcript, keeps the strongest takes, and cuts the dead air. Some styles go further: Sky Caption Minimal removes every pause, which is why the picture in that style jump cuts.
Can I use my own editing style?
Yes, by cloning one. You upload a reference video you own the rights to, and Clypmint measures its editing grammar into a style you can reuse. Cloning opens on Pro and up.

How much does Clypmint cost?
Plans run $39, $110, and $220 a month. A year up front costs ten months instead of twelve. Larger plans exist and you buy those by talking to us.
Is there a trial?
Yes. Starter has a 3-day trial for $1. $1 today. Card required. You get 3 quick cuts and 1 AI edit. You can then ask the AI editor for 5 more changes. You get 1 reference style. Show it a video you have the rights to and it copies the editing. Cancel in 3 days and pay no more.
Is there a free plan?
No. There is no free plan. Every plan starts with a card. That is a real difference from most tools in this category, and most of them do have a free tier you can use without one.
Why does the trial ask for a card?
Because a Clypmint edit costs real money to run on the first click, not on the hundredth. The card is what makes it possible to give a stranger a full-quality edit instead of a watermarked sample. $1 today. Card required. You can cancel inside 3 days.
Do trial videos have a watermark?
No. Trial downloads are clean, with no watermark, just like a paid plan.
What is the cheapest paid plan?
Starter at $39 a month. It gives you 30 finished videos a month and 10 AI edits, with no mark on any of them.
Limits and rights
How long a video can I upload?
It depends on the plan. Each plan states the longest single file it accepts and the total video minutes it allows a month. The pricing page lists both numbers for every plan.
Who owns the videos Clypmint makes?
You do. You upload your own footage and you keep the finished file.
Can I clone the editing style of a video I found online?
No. Style cloning is upload-first. You upload a reference video you have the rights to. There is no way to point Clypmint at a video someone else owns.
What can Clypmint not do?
It cannot generate footage from a prompt, make AI avatars, or dub your video into another language. It cannot record your screen. It does not connect to your analytics, so the only numbers that reach the screen are the ones you say out loud.
What shapes of video can it make?
Vertical, wide, and square. Each Clypmint style states the shapes it is built for, and a vertical style makes a vertical video.
