Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By accessing or using Clypmint (the "Service"), operated by Parker Nuttall ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Clypmint is an AI-assisted video editing tool. You upload source material (typically talking-head video clips) and/or paste reference URLs; we return finished short-form videos edited in styles you select or extract. Quality, timing, and output format are best-effort and may vary by tier.

3. Accounts & Payment

You must provide accurate account information and are responsible for activity under your account. Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Studio) are billed through Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle and charged immediately on signup — there is no free trial period on subscriptions. Yearly plans are billed annually at a 20% discount versus monthly. You can cancel anytime via the billing portal at /app/settings/usage; on cancellation, access continues through the end of the current paid period. Refunds are not provided except where required by law.

3a. Trial Pack ($60, one-time)

The Trial Pack is a separate one-time purchase ($60) intended as a paid sample of the Service. It includes up to 8 minutes of finished video, 1 style extraction, 5 GB of asset storage, and 2 free revisions per render. Output renders ship with a small "Made with Clypmint" watermark. The Trial Pack expires 7 days after purchase — unused minutes do not carry over. The Trial Pack is non-refundable as it grants immediate access to compute resources we pay for at purchase time. Trial purchases do not auto-convert to a subscription.

4. Usage & Fair Use

Each tier has documented monthly output-minute, style-extraction, asset-storage, and revision limits, plus a per-account monthly compute-cost ceiling that protects you from runaway costs. Failed renders do not count toward your minute pool. Unused minutes may roll over per the rules described on the pricing page. We reserve the right to suspend or throttle accounts that exceed fair use, attempt to extract copyrighted content at scale, attempt to circumvent the Trial Pack watermark, or use the Service to generate content that violates applicable laws or our Acceptable Use list (below).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that infringes on third-party copyright, trademark, or likeness rights you do not have permission to use.
  • Generate content that is defamatory, deceptive (deepfakes impersonating real people without consent), sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise illegal.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract our models, prompts, or internal APIs.
  • Resell access to the Service in a way that materially competes with us.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your uploaded material and of the finished videos we produce for you. You grant us a limited license to process your content only as needed to deliver the Service (transcription, analysis, rendering, storage, and style reuse scoped to your account). We own the Service, the style contracts, and all underlying software.

7. Data, Privacy, Deletion

We process personal data per our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from the cockpit settings; deletion is irreversible.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service uses third-party providers for transcription (ElevenLabs), vision (Moonshot Kimi, Anthropic Claude), stock footage (Pexels), payments (Stripe), and auth + database (Supabase). Your use of the Service is subject to those providers' terms for the portions of the pipeline they handle.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranty. We are not liable for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes & Termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in-product or by email. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms.
