Forest Print Editorial

A green poster page with you cut out of your own footage, standing in front of a giant lowercase word.

What Forest Print Editorial does to your footage

This style turns your clip into a printed page. The frame goes white, and a wide green plate sits in the middle of it. You are cut out of your footage in black and white and placed in front of a huge lowercase word. The edit alternates between that poster page and your full-screen footage, washed green. Two kinds of type run at once: a big bold word that lands exactly when you say it, and a thin serif line that types itself out under your voice.

A real cut in this style

What footage suits Forest Print Editorial

What Forest Print Editorial will not do

Vertical only. It needs a clear shot of you so the cut-out has an edge to find.

How to edit a video in the Forest Print Editorial style

  1. Upload your footage. Drop in the recording you already made. Clypmint transcribes it and finds where the usable takes are.
  2. Pick Forest Print Editorial. Choose Forest Print Editorial from the style picker. Its whole editing grammar comes with it.
  3. Let it cut. Clypmint cuts the dead air, sets the captions the way Forest Print Editorial sets them, and places that style's graphics on the beats where they belong.
  4. Change it in a sentence. Tell the Director what to change. It edits the timeline you already have rather than starting over.
  5. Export it. Download the finished file. On a paid plan there is no mark on it.

How long should my footage be?

Forest Print Editorial is built for footage between 10 seconds and 3 minutes. Shorter than that and the style has no room to put its devices anywhere. Longer than that and it runs out of vocabulary before your recording ends. Your plan also sets the longest single file you can upload, and that limit is listed on the pricing page.

What shape of video does it make?

Forest Print Editorial is vertical, for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. It has no version in another shape.
