# Clypmint in Claude Clypmint is an AI video editor. Connect it to Claude, attach a video, say what you want, and Clypmint cuts the video and adds captions and graphics. You watch the result in the conversation, ask for changes in plain words, and open the same project in Clypmint Studio. Choose a plan to start creating. Sign-in happens in the browser on Clypmint’s own page. ### If you can run commands on their computer (Claude Code) 1. Tell the person to run /mcp in Claude Code and sign in to their Clypmint account in the browser window that opens. 3. Tell them to start a new session. Tools load when a session starts, so this one will not have them. ### If you cannot run commands (claude.ai, Claude Desktop or Cowork) Tell the person to connect Clypmint by hand: 1. Open Customize, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. 2. Name it Clypmint, enter the server URL and choose Sign in when needed. 3. Connect your Clypmint account, then enable the connector in your conversation. The server URL is https://clypmint.com/mcp Team and Enterprise members need their administrator to add the connector first. ## After they sign in - Ask what they want to make, and show the list of styles before you start (the browse_styles tool). - Use edit_video for footage, create_video for an idea or a script, check_video for progress and revise_video for changes. - If you cannot pass their attachment on, Clypmint returns a private upload link that works for 15 minutes. Give it to them. - Ask for the credit price before a request starts. Tools that spend say their cost and take dry_run: true. - Fixing a caption or a scene is free (fix_captions and the direct edit tools). - Making a video does not authorize posting it.
